How to Use Finance Agent

Chat2Report's new version introduced Finance Agent, which helps you quickly analyze company financial data, compare financial performance across multiple companies, and track market sentiment.

What It Does

When analyzing company financials, the three primary financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement) contain numerous key metrics, financial ratios, and indicators that can be overwhelming.

Comparing financial data across different companies is also challenging, often requiring you to manually track and record data from each company for comparison.

That's why we built Finance Agent. It connects to financial databases and supports web search, allowing you to analyze any company, compare data across multiple years, and generate trend tables.

How to Use

You can access it from the Agent menu in the sidebar, or click the icon in the bottom-right corner of any company page.

Even if you prefer analyzing financial data yourself, Finance Agent comes in handy when you need to research other companies.

All responses from the Agent include source citations. If you question the accuracy of any answer, simply click the reference to jump to the financial data module or third-party website for verification.

Future Plans

Currently, the Agent outputs text and tables only. Chart support is coming soon, which will make multi-year trends and data comparisons much more intuitive.
