The Sugar, Ethanol and Energy segment produces sugar, ethanol, and energy; and sells carbon credits and renewable natural gas certificates. It also engages in the land transformation activities, which is involved in the identification and acquisition of underdeveloped and undermanaged farmland, and the realization of value through the strategic disposition of assets. The company was founded in 2002 and is based in Luxembourg, Luxembourg.
