Gross Margin Declines Gross profit fell 3.8% to $42.845M; Gross margin compressed 100 basis points to 23.5% due to higher material costs.
Net Loss Narrowed Net loss improved to $(2.122)M from $(2.496)M; Basic EPS improved to $(0.07) from $(0.09) per share.
Investing Cash Flow Surge Investing cash flow provided $81.945M, driven by $92.1M proceeds from partial sale of JV equity interest.
Risk Factors
JV Sale Closing Risk Recent $150M JV sale is subject to closing conditions; failure may require unwinding transaction, impacting reputation and results.
PC Market Demand Weakness Revenue highly dependent on consumer electronics; PC market decline adversely affects revenue, factory utilization, and gross margin.
Manufacturing Capacity Constraints Gross margin vulnerable to utilization rates and potential wafer capacity constraints from third-party foundries like the JV Company.
Outlook
Product Diversification Strategy Continuing product diversification to expand serviceable market, focusing on higher performance MOSFET and Power IC offerings.
JV Installment Realization Expecting to receive remaining installment payments from strategic investor for JV equity sale prior to calendar year end 2025.
Capital Needs Assessment Current cash sufficient for next twelve months; may seek debt financing for long-term investments or acquisitions if needed.
