In addition, it offers fax, modem and image processors and software solutions for printers, fax machines, point of sale terminals, and medical applications. The company sells its products through direct sales, outside sales representatives, distributors, and value-added resellers to mobile and PC OEMs; IoT OEMs; and automotive and consumer electronics manufacturers. Synaptics Incorporated was incorporated in 1986 and is headquartered in San Jose, California.
